Elisa Roma is Associate Professor at the University of Pavia: visit her homepage.
She is interested in historical linguistics, within a more general typological perspective. Her specific expertise concerns Celtic languages, especially Gaelic and Old Irish. Recently she started working also on Modern italian, with a focus on emergent languge change.
Within the project, she is involved in the analysis of Modern Italian corpora, with special attention on legal language, in order to identify the impact and the interpretation of ad hoc categories in laws and verdicts.
